Feeding Our Future was launched in 2000 to address the issue of "Summer Hunger" and has grown to become Canada’s largest free summer lunch program. School food programming is an essential part of childhood nutrition and to ensure children don’t go without during the summer months, Feeding Our Future was created.
Since the launch of the program, more than 837,540 lunches have been delivered to thousands of children accessing free or subsidized summer camps across the city.
