Donor Love Calling Volunteers – Virtual

In February, we want to spread the love with your help! We’re looking for volunteers to call our donors and remind them how much we love and appreciate their trust in our work. For this virtual volunteer opportunity, you will be responsible for calling individual donors to thank them for their contributions.

Education Workshop Assistant – Locations across the GTA

We’re looking for energetic volunteers to assist us in facilitating our Grade 3 Food Waste Visiting School Program to classrooms across the GTA.

Starting in Mississauga and Oakville schools, volunteers will assist our Training Team by setting up and monitoring activity stations, answering student questions, encouraging discussions and supporting with clean up.

Key skills:    

- Comfortable working with children

- Tech savvy (familiar using iPad, connecting laptop to projector/screen)

- Interest in food waste

- Enthusiastic energy to create a fun, positive atmosphere for the students 

- Experience facilitating activities

- Time Management

- Leadership skills

*Please note a vulnerable sector check will be required for this position.
