When farmers like you are faced with unsold surplus food, they need a common-sense solution to support them getting it out of their fields or out of storage — and onto plates. That’s where we come in.
Whether you run a small or medium-sized farm or an industrial-scale operation, Second Harvest will manage all your donation logistics for free, return your bins and trays, and provide a donation receipt for eligible donations. Farmers can also claim a tax credit on the fair market value of their donated agricultural products.
Through the From the Farm program, Second Harvest helps farmers do what they do best — feed people.
